This policy describes what personal information Orbitaven ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website, why we collect it, and the control you have over it. The short version: we collect very little, we do not sell personal information, and this site runs no advertising.

What we collect

  • What you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
  • Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically records standard request details: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time. We use this to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.
  • Fonts. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address and browser details, under Google's own privacy policy.

There are no accounts on this site, and it collects no payment information.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will say so here first and, where the law requires, ask for your consent.

How we use it

  • To answer your messages and requests.
  • To run, secure and improve the site.
  • To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the providers that help us run the site and handle email, such as hosting and email services, who may use it only to provide those services, and with authorities where the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your request, and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or California privacy law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.

Security and transfers

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. Our providers may process data in countries other than your own; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Apps and future systems

If Orbitaven releases apps or services under the MimikLab name, their data practices will be set out in this policy and in the relevant store listings before launch.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
